    All 4-H families in Carroll County are expected to volunteer 3 hours of time to assist with parking at the Algonquin Mill Festival. Carroll County 4-H Committee receives a portion of parking fees from the Festival that aid in providing activities, awards, and fair ribbons to all Carroll County 4-H youth. Funds raised also help to offset the cost of Carroll County 4-H Jr. Camp at Camp Piedmont and Cloverbud Camp. All Carroll County 4-H families benefit from funds raised for Carroll County 4-H Committee.

    Ohio State University Extension Family and Consumer Sciences recognizes that when parents divorce, the children often pay the highest price. Of the approximately 40,000 marriages that break up in Ohio each year, more than 45% involve minor children. This class is not just for divorced parents, but any parents who are in a co-parenting situation.

Participants will learn how favorite Thanksgiving foods have evolved over time, along with insights into current food trends and modern farming practices that bring these seasonal staples from the field to the table today.

    2027 Jr. Fair Market Beef and Dairy Steer Tag-in will be at the Steer Barn at the Carroll County Fairgrounds on Saturday, November 7 from 9-11am.

    All steers must be properly castrated and dehorned prior to tag-in.
