    Clover Crew

    Join us at the Minerva Public Library to discover the excitment of 4-H Cloverbuds! All are welcome, even if you are not currently enrolled in 4-H. Clover Crew is a program for children 5 years old AND in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This program is a great way for youth and families to learn about 4-H. Enjoy hands-on STEAM activities, storytime and snacks! 

    This program is free to the public, but reservations are requested by calling the Extension Office at 330.627.4310.

    Market Hog, Market Lamb, Market Goat tag-in will be at the Carroll County Fairgrounds Saturday, May 9 from 9-11am. 

    All market lambs, hogs, and goats must be properly castrated prior to tag-in. Additionally all market lambs and goats must have a scrapie tag (male and female) prior to tag-in.

    County Born and Raised Forms are due at tag-in.

    Sun Safety - Protect Your Glow!

    An engaging educational program focused on protecting your skin and eyes from the sun’s harmful rays.

    Participants will learn how ultraviolet (UV) light affects the skin and eyes and why sun protection is essential at every age.

    The program will cover the importance of sunscreen, the different types of skin cancer, and practical steps individuals can take to be proactive about sun safety. Participants will also learn how to choose an effective sunscreen and what to look for on the label to ensure proper protection.
