Health Eating During Stressful Times

Stress can have a powerful impact on how and what we eat.

In a fast-paced world, stress affects health and eating; awareness and planning help people stay healthy during hectic times.

This educational program explores how stress affects the body, including:

  • Its influence on appetite, cravings, and digestion
  • Helping participants better understand the connection between stress and eating habits

Participants will learn practical strategies for planning ahead for healthy meals and snacks, how to avoid stress eating through mindful eating practices, and healthy, non food ways to manage stress, empowering individuals to build resilience during challenging times.

This program is free to the public, but reservations are requested by calling the Minerva Public Library at 330.868.4101.
